Who can apply?
Anyone in the hockey community — coaches, players, skill trainers, content creators, teams. We review applications manually to keep the network high-quality.
How do L1, L2, and L3 work?

L1 is anyone who signs up using your code directly. L2 is anyone who signs up using the code of someone you brought into the affiliate program. L3 is one level further — someone who used the code of your L2 affiliate.

Example: You are a coach and share your code. One of your players uses it (L1 — you earn 10%). That player also becomes an affiliate, and one of their teammates signs up with the player's code (L2 — you earn 5%). That teammate brings in their training partner (L3 — you earn 2%). Revenue flows back to you from all three levels while those subscriptions are active.

What are "platform fees", and what exactly is "net proceeds"?

Revenue share is calculated on net proceeds — the amount left after two deductions:

1. The 10% subscriber discount. When someone uses an affiliate code, they pay 10% less. Revenue share is calculated on what they actually pay, not the list price.

2. Platform fees. The Hockey Lab is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Apple and Google take a cut of each subscription before we receive anything.

Example: A $9.99/month subscription with a 10% discount costs the subscriber $8.99. After Apple's platform fee, net proceeds are less than that. Your revenue share is calculated on whatever net proceeds remain.

How do payouts work?
We process payouts manually once your balance reaches a threshold. We'll reach out to arrange payment — no automated processor required from you.
Can I have more than one code?
Yes. We can issue additional codes if you run separate campaigns or want codes for different audiences.
What happens if a subscription is cancelled?
Earnings are tied to active subscriptions. If a subscription is cancelled, earnings from that subscription stop.
Can the rates change?
Revenue-share rates and program terms can be updated with advance notice, as documented in the affiliate agreement. We commit to a notice period before any changes take effect.
